Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of quarterday.app and related services (the “Service”) provided by Quarterday (“Quarterday,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What Quarterday does

Quarterday generates a personalized home-maintenance plan from the address and details you provide, ranked by urgency and tuned to your home and region. The free plan is informational. Membership adds ongoing reminders and additional guidance.

Not professional advice

Quarterday provides general maintenance information and estimates - it is not professional, engineering, inspection, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Recommendations, timing, and cost figures are estimates based on typical homes, public records, and standard maintenance intervals; your home may differ. Always use your own judgment and consult a licensed professional before performing or skipping any work, and follow all manufacturer instructions and safety guidance. You are responsible for your home and any work you choose to do or have done.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to enter the address you submit.

Membership, billing, and renewals

• Subscription. Membership is an auto-renewing annual subscription billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Founding-member pricing, where offered, is described at checkout.
• Renewal. Unless you cancel before the end of your current term, your membership automatically renews and the then-applicable card on file is charged. Founding pricing, where granted, remains locked for renewals as described at purchase.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues through the end of the paid term.
• 30-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund of that purchase.
• Taxes. Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes, which may be added where required.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating any law; accessing or scraping the Service through automated means without permission; attempting to disrupt or compromise its security or integrity; reselling or redistributing our content; or submitting addresses or information you have no right to submit.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, design, and software, is owned by Quarterday and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and your plan for your own household use. The Quarterday name and logo are our trademarks.

Third-party services and data

The Service relies on third-party providers - for example, payment processing, public-record and geocoding lookups, bot detection and security (such as Cloudflare Turnstile), analytics, and advertising or retargeting partners (such as Google and Meta/Facebook). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or practices of those third parties, and public-record data may be incomplete or out of date. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate or recommendation will be accurate for your specific home.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quarterday and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, profits, or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Quarterday harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue features of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and may notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Quarterday is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
